Red light cameras are installed at the following three(3) locations in the city of Clearwater:
The red light cameras are maintained by Reflex Traffic Systems and the violations are reviewed by the Clearwater Police Department. The cameras began issuing warnings on June 30, 2012 and full citations started being issued on July 31, 2012.
The Clearwater City Council approved a six month contract that will automatically extend for three years if within the first six months there is at least a 15% drop in violations.
